Programs

Since its incorporation in 1981, the Resource Connection has evolved, matured, and grown to respond to needs identified in the community. With an initial focus on what were then seen as “women’s issues” – child care and domestic violence – the Mountain Family Service Agency (the precursor to Human Resources Council, now known as The Resource Connection) has expanded to include three overarching areas: Children and Families, Nutrition, and Prevention and Intervention, offering programs and services to thousands of residents throughout Amador and Calaveras counties each year.
