I think I make too much money for my child to be enrolled in the program.  What can I do?

There are several program options and ways to qualify for support. You should speak with a Family Advocate to find out if you qualify for the program.

If I work in Calaveras County but live out of the county, can I still enroll in the infant/toddler programs?

No.  To qualify for the infant/toddler program, you and your child must live in the county.  However Calaveras County residents can enroll if they work out of county.

Can I volunteer at my child’s school?

Absolutely! The Resource Connection encourages parents to volunteer whenever possible. There are a variety of ways to volunteer – talk with a Family Advocate or your child’s teacher to learn more.

My child has been on the waiting list for a long time –
when will he/she be enrolled?

The waiting list does not work on a first come, first serve basis.  The waiting list runs on a points-based system – children with the highest number of points are served first, second highest next, and so on. Points are determined by household income and size.  Be sure to contact the Resource Connection to update your information if there is a change, such as household size or income, address or phone number.
