Do I have to be enrolled in the Head Start program to attend Playgroups?

Playgroups are open to anyone in the community that has children 5 and under that are interested in a social learning environment for their children.

Can I attend more than one playgroup each month?

Yes. Playgroups are offered throughout the county and are open to anyone that would like to attend.

What happens at the playgroups?

Playgroups offer an environment for your child to play and interact with other children. Different learning experiences are presented at each playgroup and parents are encouraged to participate with their children. It is also a place that parents can meet other parents with small children in their community.

Can I drop my child off at a playgroup?

No. Playgroups are attended by parents and their children. All children must be accompanied by an adult and are encouraged to participate in learning experiences with their children.
