The Resource Connection keeps the community informed of child care and family needs. We do this by:

• Reporting the concerns of parents and providers to the wider community, including policy makers.
  
• Tracking and reporting parent requests for care by type, age of child, location and other characteristics. 
  
• Gathering and reporting data on supply of licensed child care slots. 
  
• Following trends that have an impact on local communities and families.
  
• Collaborating and partnering with other community groups and private entities to increase the understanding of child care issues. 
  
• Organizing and/or participating in community events to offer information and/or children’s activities.
