The Resource Connection’s Women Infants and Children (WIC) program is funded through the Department of Agriculture (USDA). Through a contract with the California Department of Health and Services, WIC provides nutrition and education programs for low-income pregnant women and mothers of infants and toddlers (birth to 5) throughout Amador and Calaveras counties. Programs and services include: vouchers for nutritious food; breast pump loan program; and breast feeding and nutrition support and education.
