POLICY & PLANNING

772-3980

The Resource Connection believes that a child's future success depends on a healthy self image and pride in his or her family. With this long term goal, Early Head Start staff, in close collaboration with parents, plan a curriculum that encourages a sense of security and promotes exploration.  The goal is to provide children with successful experiences as they develop their own sense of identity and independence and to prepare them for a successful transition to preschool and then elementary school. The curriculum for Early Head Start covers self- help skills; language and communication; nutrition; health; safety; gross motor skills; and fine motor skills.
