My child care provider told me that my 2-year-old is hitting and biting other kids, and she recently stopped sleeping through the night! Where can I get help?

Resource Connection coordinators can provide you and your child care provider with various resources, information and training. Contact the Resource and Referral (R&R) office to discuss what might work best for you and your situation. The Resource Connection has a resource library, and offers trainings and workshops led by staff and other partners in the community with deep experience in child development.

Does the Resource Connection provide child care during meetings and trainings for parents?

Early Childhood Program meetings often include child care. If you attend a Parent Policy Council (PPC) or a committee meeting, child care may be provided, or reimbursement may be available. When child care is offered, it will be noted in the flyer for the event.

What kind of parent education programs does the Resource Connection offer?

Parent workshops are planned for groups at various preschool and infant/toddler sites. When you enroll in the program, you will be asked about the types of workshops that interest you and notified when they are scheduled. Additional parent workshops are offered, which are open to the public. They are listed on the Resource Connection calendar.
