The Resource Connection plays a role in policy and planning to support the needs of families and children by:

Advocating for policy change at the state and local levels to create a child care system that provides accessible, affordable, quality child care for all families.

Collaborating with public and private entities to raise awareness of child care concerns and take action to address them.

Helping parents and providers advocate to make the child care system more responsive to their needs.
The Resource Connection administers the Calaveras Child Care Council and a Parent Voices Chapter that help engage additional partners to meet the child care needs of our community.
