How does the Food Bank distribute food?

The Food Bank is supplied by seven USDA commodity sites and operates four mobile pantries that travel to specific sites in Calaveras County. In addition, the Food Bank runs Santa's Express, a holiday food basket program. Food can be obtained at the San Andreas site, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What other services does the Resource Connection provide?

The Public Benefits Coordinator can help you navigate the various services and determine eligibility based on your income. Low-income individuals and families can take classes on good nutrition, or learn about the benefits of food stamps through the food stamp outreach program.
